About Karen Ives

I began my adult journey at the young age of 22 with 3 beautiful girls all under the age of 3. Within the next 8 years my family grew to 5 children, a dog, bird and a turtle. I remained a domestic engineer for 25 years along with coaching, volunteering, and driving circles for all of my children's various activities. As they started to leave the nest, I started working at a marketing firm as a specialist in their in-house sales department. In time, this led to me to sales in fine wine and fine jewelry. With a strong background in sales and marketing, I decided it was time to pursue a career in real estate. I've found this career is the perfect fit for me. It allows me to pursue my passion of real estate while juggling my other passion of family as a mom and grandmother of 9 and still growing.

I am a full-time Realtor. I possess the ambition, ability, and honesty to succeed in the managing of your property. I have a lifetime of experience in both Ocean and Monmouth NJ counties. I have lived in both of these counties and am very familiar with their neighborhoods and real estate values. I keep up to date with the current and past market trends. Code of Ethics

The Code establishes time-honored and baseline principles that come from the collective experiences of REALTORS® since the Code of Ethics was first established in 1913. Those principles can be loosely defined as:

Loyalty to clients;

Fiduciary (legal) duty to clients;

Cooperation with competitors;

Truthfulness in statements and advertising; and non-interference in exclusive relationships that other REALTORS® have with their clients.


To earn a designation, a REALTOR® a real estate agent has taken coursework and demonstrated specific skills, performance and knowledge in a particular area of the real estate industry
